GEOL 200 - Rocks and Minerals
Course Description
This geology lab course will help you understand and identify common Canadian rocks and minerals. You’ll study the rock cycle, including igneous, metamorphic and sedimentary rocks, while learning the chemical composition and physical properties of minerals.
We’ll also cover Bowen’s Reaction Series, volcanism and volcanoes.
