CSTN 161 - Interior Finishing and Trim

Course Description
This hands-on course introduces learners to interior trim/finish carpentry. Learners will be exposed to safety practices, identify the correct tools and material for each stage of the project, and learn how to install pre-hung doors, door and window casing, mouldings and hardware.

Hands-on projects include:

Install interior doors including passage, bi-fold and pocket doors and related hardware.
Install door and window trim, baseboards, moulding and wall-mounted railings.
Conduct finishing techniques including filling, caulking and painting.
