CSTN 160 - Floor Covering

Course Description
This hands-on course introduces learners to the principles of flooring installation. Learners will be exposed to safety practices, identify the correct tools and material for each stage of the project, and learn how to install a variety of different materials ranging from hardwood to vinyl.

Hands-on projects include:

Identify, estimate and select the correct material for each stage of a floor covering project.
Prepare job site and plan the installation.
Install hardwood, engineered wood, vinyl and plastic laminate flooring.
Conduct finishing techniques including installing trim and accessories.
