CSTN 162 - Tilesetting

Course Description
This hands-on course introduces learners to the principles of tile installation on floors and walls of their home. Learners will be exposed to safety practices, identify the correct tools and material for each stage of the project, and learn how to install a variety of different materials ranging from natural stone to ceramic.

Hands-on projects include:

Identify, estimate and select the correct material for each stage of a tilesetting project.
Prepare job site and plan the installation.
Install wall and floor tiles including trims and accessories.
Conduct finishing techniques including grouting and sealing.
