SURV 100 - Survey Calculations I

Course Description
This introductory course covers the fundamentals of land surveying calculations. For surveyors or mappers entering the industry, this training will discuss the history of surveying, while showing you how to determine differences in elevation, and how to solve surveying problems using angle and directions measurement.

Theory of errors
Distance and angular measurement
Errors and corrections
Traversing
Bearings calculation
Latitudes and departures calculation
Coordinates calculation
Areas calculation
Leveling
Field notes
