BCPT 003 - Word I Course Description This introductory course in Microsoft Word teaches information workers how to work with different types of documents using a variety of core and intermediate features to create and format business documents such as letters, forms, and newsletters.
You will learn how to manipulate text, format paragraphs and format specifically to print. Going beyond just the basics, we’ll discuss each topic in greater detail, exploring higher level options that can be chosen or applied to particular skill sets that will leave you poised for success.
This course is part of a certificate program and will conclude with an exam.

Additional Requisite Information: We recommend students are comfortable with computers and the Windows Operating System (See the Windows and File Management course). Also, typing skills are recommended.
