CPNT 206 - Linux Windows Networking Services


Course Description
This Linux Windows Networking Services course introduces the installation and management of typical network services such as Domain Name Servers (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), Web Servers, File Transfer Protocol (FTP) servers, Secure Shell (SSH) servers, Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) servers, firewall, and proxy servers.

A significant portion of class time will be spent using packet capture utilities to examine and troubleshoot numerous protocols within the TCP/IP suite of protocols. Windows 2012 Server and Linux will be used throughout the course. Particular importance is placed on problem solving and researching solutions.

This course is part of the Server Administration Certificate of Achievement.
