GEOL 203 - Physical Geology Course Description This physical geology course introduces you to fundamental geologic principles, including formation and development of Earth’s surface features, depositional environments, structural geology and correlation.You will learn how to identify and determine the age of common Canadian rocks and minerals. Significant focus will be placed upon the rock cycle, studying igneous, metamorphic and sedimentary rocks. Additional physical geology topics covered include: - Strike and dip measurements
