AUDI 205 - Digital Sound I

Course Description
This sound engineering course introduces you to basic digital audio sound theory while giving an overview to digital audio pre-production, production and post-production. You will also receive a hands-on introduction to industry standard audio production hardware and software as you create your own audio projects.

You’ll discover the ins and outs of mixing and editing music files while learning how to create and record an audio production. Upon successful completion of this course you’ll understand gain stages, recording levels, sample rates and bit depth, how to set up Digital Audio Workstation, audio pools and how to bounce a project to hard disk.
