DMST 117 - Musculoskeletal Lower Body Ultrasound
Course Description
Ultrasound examinations of the lower body structures are frequently requested due to the high incidence of abnormalities. Learners will be presented with the anatomy and abnormalities of the calf, hip, thigh, knee, ankle and foot. Through live demonstrations, learners will be shown how the transducer is maneuvered and how each image is produced. Opportunities for guided practice in groups will also be provided.
