PHOT 249 - Action Photography

Course Description
Whether you are shooting a bird in flight, a football player running for a touch down or a cheetah chasing a gazelle across the African Savannah, the techniques you learn in this course will help you achieve your goals. We will also cover how to read your images in terms of what went right as well as wrong, and where to make corrections. Assignments, field trips and critiques will be an integral part of this course. The course consists of 4 lectures and 2 - three hour field trips. One field trip will be on a class night and the other on a Saturday or Sunday (dates to be announced in class). Assignments are followed up with critiques of student work.
