SCMP 006 - Speech Masters (Gr. 7-9)

Course Description
Great presentations start with a great speech! Gain an appreciation for the power of language and become a confident public speaker while exploring the art of speech writing and delivery. Learn about the importance of voice control, vocabulary and body language in presentations. Find out what makes a memorable and enjoyable speech, how to prepare various types of speeches, and develop your impromptu communication skills through fun and interactive solo and group presentations and activities.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS: Oral communication, Thinking, Working with others

For youth entering grades 7, 8, or 9 in September.
Register using your child’s name.
Registration for camp and lunch closes at 12:00pm (MST) on the Thursday before the camp begins. Late registrations will not be accepted.
Camps run from 9:00am - 4:00pm.
