SCMP 014 - Literacy Explorers (Gr. 5-6)
Course Description
Explore the world of literacy - from traditional books and poetry to media through engaging and interactive activities. You will be able to identify aspects of literacy to craft your own writing master piece filled with imagery, alliteration, and more. Expand your portfolio as you express your inner storyteller with new writing samples created throughout the week.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS: Reading, Thinking, Working with others
- For youth entering grades 5 or 6 in September.
- Register using your child’s name.
- Registration for camp and lunch closes at 12:00pm (MST) on the Thursday before the camp begins. Late registrations will not be accepted.
- Camps run from 9:00am - 4:00pm.
