ARCH 350 - Principles of Construction Documentation Course Description Overview of the construction industry; client-architect relationships; contract documents; contract law; legal contracts; acts pertaining to the construction industry; tendering procedures; contract administration; worker’s compensation; principles of project coordination for design disciplines. This course also addresses the relationships between Construction Drawings and Specifications and the relationship of these documents to the Construction process. Standards, Specification types, Contract Law, Bidding Procedures, Bidding Documents, and Contract Documents are described. Format for Specifications, Specification Language, and office procedure for Specification writing are examined. Contract and construction administration are reviewed.
