ESTM 262 - Estimating I and Construction Laboratory
Course Description
The course involves preparation of quantity takeoffs for excavations, foundations, site services, residential concrete, formwork, wood framing and finish carpentry, interior and exterior finishes. Students will complete a full estimate of a residential project including quantity takeoff, pricing, summary and bid preparation. The course also includes a lab component that consists of building a residential home including framing and completing the exterior finishes of the building.
