CPNT 254 - Switching and Routing Essentials


Course Description
This course describes the principles and operations of switches and the basic routing concepts. Learners will learn how to plan, configure and verify the enterprise switched networks. The course covers Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching, Virtual LANs (VLAN), Trunk, link aggregation and redundancy protocols in campus networks. Learners will also learn to configure and troubleshoot static routes, dynamic routing, access control list (ACL), DHCP and Network Address Translation (NAT).
