RLOP 208 - Railway Practical Lab
Course Description
This course provides learners with knowledge and hands-on skills needed to safely participate in a railway lab in which they will complete required activities such as identifying signals and track signs; crossing over and detraining stationary equipment; changing a knuckle, changing an air hose, providing protection operating switches and hand brakes; replacing defective equipment; entraining/detraining, and installing/removing SBUs. Learners will work in the lab and outside in prevailing weather conditions. Some activity may be required outside of established hours.
