COMM 270 - Environmental Risk Communication
Course Description
Risk communication is about explaining risk - and people’s perception of risk, not the statistical science of risk assessment. This course will provide the student with an understanding of risk communication theory and principles; its application in various corporate stakeholder communication settings (public consultations, technical public presentations, media interviews); and practical experience in risk communication situations.
