MEDL 335 - Transfusion Medicine 1
Course Description
Discover new knowledge and the skills required to work in the Transfusion Medicine laboratory. Through course modules, class discussions, textbook and web link review and by performing lab exercises, you will develop the skills and confidence to identify and analyze antigen antibody reactions. Particular emphasis will be placed on the ABO, Rh, and Lewis systems and pretransfusion testing including a study of blood bank reagents.
