ARCH 360 - Building Systems Technology III

Course Description
Principles and methods of construction for a multi-storey, steel-frame commercial building are presented. A set of working drawings for the building is produced including a Site Plan, Floor Plans, Elevations, Building Sections, Wall Section and Details. Application of sound building science principles is emphasized. Field trips are conducted to observe construction similar to the building for which working drawing are being produced. Collaborative work produces shared information about details, construction assemblies and on site construction techniques.
