ARCH 244 - Mechanical and Electrical Systems
Course Description
This course will examine general principles of temperature and air quality control. Basic components and the operation of mechanical, plumbing, electrical and life safety systems of commercial buildings will be explored. By the end of this course, students will be able to interpret mechanical and electrical drawings, characterize key building systems and illustrate how alternative systems can yield energy savings.
