GEOP 350 - 2D and 3D Seismic Data Loading and Interpretation
Course Description
This course reviews 2D and 3D seismic data acquisition, including processing and interpretation of the data. The student will be able to demonstrate the ability to load 2D and 3D seismic SEG-Y data, and to interpret the data on paper seismic sections and on workstations using available software. Data loading and interpretation skills are developed with the use of processed 2D and 3D seismic data examples from the Western Canadian sedimentary basin.
