JOUR 363 - Broadcast News Sports
Course Description
The JOUR 363 option offers learners an opportunity to focus part of their work in the final semester on TV and radio sports. Learners are assigned shifts as TV Sports Anchor, Radio Sports Desker and Sports Reporter. The radio sportscaster may also write and present farm news in the course of a day of radio coverage. JOUR 363 works in conjunction with the corequisite courses toward the production of “Newsfile”, a half-hour TV newscast produced three days a week, as well as radio news and sports production on SAIT campus radio station four days a week.
