RESR 424 - Advanced Reservoir Engineering

Course Description
The fundamentals of pressure transient analysis in oil and gas reservoirs are discussed in this course. The course covers standard drawdown and build up tests required as per AER Directive 40, the available methods use to analyze these tests, and their application to various reservoir types. Waterflood prediction methods for Single-Layer and Multi-Layer models and the determination of waterflood recovery factors are covered.
