MEDL 365 - Professional Practice MLT

Course Description
Professional Practice MLT will review the Standards of Practice for Medical Laboratory Technologists (MLT), the Code of Ethics and the concepts of certification, registration and regulation of health care professionals. Learners will be oriented to the practicum rules, regulations, expectations, competency-based objectives and evaluation methods as outlined in the MLT Handbook. A personal professional practice plan will be developed by the learners for implementation during year 2 of their program.
