Course Description
This course provides the student with the necessary information and resources required for develop a Unity Pro Project using basic instructions for the Schneider Electric Unity system. Topics covered are: Unity family, components of a TSX Premium system, Unity Pro software, Project organization, Timer and Counters, DFB’s, Math Instructions, Data Comparison Instructions, Sequential Function Chart, Process Loop Control, Analog Input, and Analog Output, instructions. Communication via Ethernet using ModBus TCIP protocol is also covered. Modules used are for the Schneider Electric Premium system. Unity Pro software is used to program the TSX P57 4634 processor. Students will design, connect, program and troubleshoot the operation of many practical industrial control applications.
