CHEN 314 - Mass Transfer

Course Description
The course examines both the theory and equipment involved for the separation of solutions and mixtures. Topics include: distillation, absorption, stripping and liquid/liquid extraction. Calculations by hand as well as computer software are used in solving mass transfer related problems.
