LEGL 260 - Litigation Law I Course Description Civil litigation requires specific procedures that are followed for lawsuits in Alberta both in Provincial Court and in the Court of Queen’s Bench. In the Court of Queen’s Bench, you will start with the initial retainer and progress through to Default Judgment. In the Provincial Court, you will examine a lawsuit from commencement to conclusion. You will also learn how to prepare sample documents that are used for lawsuits in Alberta.
