NMED 310 - Instrumentation 2

Course Description
Instrumentation 2 will present bone densitometry, positron emission tomography (PET) and solid-state detectors used in clinical nuclear medicine. The learner will examine the equipment used, methods of data acquisition, and image production in nuclear medicine. An introduction to magnetic resonance imaging, diagnostic medical sonography and medical radiologic technology will also be provided.
