TECH 200 - Developments in Technology

Course Description
This course introduces fundamental techniques for collecting water-related data in the field. Students will have an opportunity to demonstrate techniques in a hands-on environment which will be developed further in a natural setting in field school in a future course. Technology plays a critical role in data collection and students will learn about common technologies that supplement the fundamental techniques they have learnt. Since technology tends to evolve quite rapidly, students will conduct a research project on emerging technologies in the water-related data field.
