ELAW 102 - Human Rights Issues

Course Description
Alberta’s Human Rights Act prohibits discrimination in the area of employment. The legislation applies to all aspects of the employment relationship, including hiring, discipline, promotion, work assignments and firing. This course will provide you with an understanding of the basic prohibitions and the employee’s rights under this legislation. This could save employers’ time and costs associated with unnecessary complaints and litigation.
