CPRG 005 - .NET Development w/ASP.NET
Course Description
As part of the .NET Development Certificate of Achievement, this course teaches you how to leverage the ASP.NET environment using Visual Studio and the .NET Framework to deliver robust high performance web applications quickly.
You will be introduced to coding ASP.NET pages, using web Forms, learning the new ASP.NET event model and many custom web controls. Learn how to integrate XML documents into a web application, secure and deploy an ASP.NET application and use ADO.NET to deliver database enabled web applications. We will cover AJAX and LINQ in building dynamic web applications and you will learn the advantages of a Service Architecture as you build Web Services using the Windows Communication Foundation. This training also introduces the ASP.NET MVC (model-view-controller) framework. Both VB.NET and C# languages will be used in demonstrations and exercises.
