CAMP 165 - Extreme Diggers (Gr. 5-6)

Course Description
Discover how machines work and build your very own “mighty machine” from the ground up. Build and paint your own digger and take your project home at the end of the week. This camp combines physical activity, hands-on learning, teamwork and, of course, lots of fun!

For youth entering grades 5 or 6 in September.
Register using your child’s name.
Registration for camp and lunch closes at 12:00pm (MST) on the Thursday before the camp begins. Late registrations will not be accepted.
Camps run from 9:00am - 4:00pm.

Essential Skills: Document Use, Thinking, Working with others

DRESS CODE REQUIREMENTS: All participants are required to wear closed-toe shoes with a good tread; no sandals or open-toe shoes permitted in the shop. Long pants are required to be worn in the shop; no shorts, capris, low-cut tops, or loose clothing that could get caught in power tools. Coveralls or clothes that can get dirty are preferred. Campers with long hair should ensure that they bring hair elastics to tie back their hair.

SAFETY NOTE: Campers are required to adhere to the safety precautions outlined by the instructors; safety infractions may lead to removal from the camp.

NOTE: Oversized take home item.
