SCMP 131 - Home Builder’s Drafting, Introduction (Gr. 7-12)

Course Description
Discover the technical components of residential construction drafting. Design your own home, choose your detail specifications and use computer-aided drafting software to produce full drawings. Learn how to read blueprints and get to know basic drafting techniques. At the end of the week, take home your house drawings, floor plans and building specifications.
Essential skills: Digital technology, Document use, Thinking

NOTE: Basic computer skills required.

For youth entering grades 7 through 12 in September.
Register using your child’s name.
Registration for camp and lunch closes at 12:00pm (MST) on the Thursday before the camp begins. Late registrations will not be accepted.
Camps run from 9:00am - 4:00pm.
