SCMP 166 - Exploring Forensics (Gr. 7-9) Course Description Discover what makes a footprint and handprint unique to each individual. Learn what DNA samples can tell us about a suspect or victim. Exploring forensics will let you analyze, test and investigate evidence to learn the science behind solving complex crimes. Use the skills gained throughout the camp to close a case at the end of the week!
Essential skills: Document use, Oral communication, Thinking
Note: This camp deals with graphic/sensitive material.
- For youth entering grades 7, 8 or 9 in September.
- Register using your child’s name.
- Registration for camp and lunch closes at 12:00pm (MST) on the Thursday before the camp begins. Late registrations will not be accepted.
- Camps run from 9:00am - 4:00pm.
