PERS 113 - Gibson Hardisty ELS Top Up Course Description Environmental Leadership (Top Up) is the art of motivating and inspiring people to work toward shared environmental aspirations. It requires solid character and highly developed communication skills.
This course covers important leadership topics dealing with the environment and will help you to hone your skills in the following areas: environmental awareness, influencing others, championing change and maintaining morale.
We will examine the characteristics of successful leaders and identify what authentic leadership looks like. We will also spend time differentiating between vision, mission, environmental operating principles and goals, while assessing common strategies for facilitating innovation and creativity.
