CBMK 111 - Woodworking and Cabinetry Course Description In this Woodworking and Cabinetry course you will learn the principles of cabinetmaking and how different types of hardware are incorporated into building a multi-purpose cabinet. Depending on the desired outcome, your cabinet can be designed for use as a router table in a workshop, a kitchen storage cabinet, or a night stand.
This course project will incorporate the following cabinetmaking techniques:
- Use of plastic laminate
- Biscuit joinery for casework
- Stile and rail joinery for doors
- Drawer construction
- Installing door and drawer hardware
