SCMP 189 - STEM Explorers (Gr. 1-2)

Course Description
Get ready to explore the ins and outs of STEM. Become a mini scientist, technologist, engineer, and mathematician all in one week! Engage in daily experiments and team challenges to become the ultimate STEM Explorer. You will have the chance to conduct your own whizz-bang-wow experiments, learn about sequencing while programming and coding, engineer your own Rube Goldberg’s machine, and solve clues using your newly-acquired mathematician skills. At the end of the week, work with your team to showcase your STEM skills through a final project.

Essential Skills: Numeracy, Digital technology, Working with others

For youth entering grades 1 or 2 in September.
Register using your child’s name.
Registration for this program closes at 12:00pm (MST) on the Thursday before the program begins. Late registrations will not be accepted.
