SCMP 161 - Exploring Trades, Electrician (Gr. 7-12) Course Description Illuminate, challenge and charge your mind by gaining the skills required to work safely with basic electrical circuits. Build a variety of unique electrical related projects to bring home and showcase your success. Explore fundamental concepts that will help you understand the world of electricity!
Essential Skills: Continuous learning, Thinking, Working with others
DRESS CODE REQUIREMENTS: Participants are required to wear full-length pants and closed-toe shoes.
SAFETY NOTE: Although most of the activities will be a low DC voltage, participants are required to adhere to the safety precautions outlined by the instructors. Safety infractions may lead to removal from the camp. Eye protection will be provided.
- For youth entering grades 7 through 12 in September.
- Register using your child’s name.
- Registration for camp and lunch closes at 12:00pm (MST) on the Thursday before the camp begins. Late registrations will not be accepted.
- Camps run from 9:00am - 4:00pm.
