COMM 104 - Communication Strategies for the Workplace Course Description In a supervisor’s role, many reports indicate that supervisors spend as much as 40 to 60% of their time dealing with conflict in the workplace. And to effectively master conflict management, one must also be able to master one’s emotions. Therefore, interest-based conflict management provides tools and strategies for improving the relationship, as well as addressing substantive issues. In short, exceptional communication skills are vital to successful leadership in today’s fast-paced and multi-generational workplace, and this course helps supervisors master those skills.
