RREG 107 - Overview of Acts and Regulations Course Description In this course, Acts and Regulations applicable to the Canadian oil and gas industry are discussed. The association of key federal, provincial and municipal Acts and Regulations specific to oil and gas activities is reviewed. Guidelines and manuals published by key Regulatory Agencies are examined. You will learn to distinguish the applicable acts and regulations, guidelines and manuals by jurisdictional authority as each relates to Canadian water use, oil, oil sands & gas extraction, processing, transportation and storage. Mineral Land Administrators, Surface Land Administrators, Joint Venture (JV) and Well Asset Management staff will benefit greatly from this overview course. Production Accountants and junior Marketing and Stakeholder Relations will also find this course valuable as all of them work closely with Regulatory personnel.
