RREG 116 - Environmental Regulations Course Description In this course, you will explore the environmental legislation specific to regulatory requirements of oil and gas developments which exist in order to eliminate, or minimize, the negative environmental effects of development. You will learn about environmental permitting requirements, ‘environmental compliance’ when constructing of oil and gas assets, environmental monitoring and reporting scenarios at operational facilities. You will understand basic legal requirements for reclamation and remediation activities in the industry and the enhanced financial reclamation requirements for mining operations. Engineers, Geologists, Mineral Land Analysts, Surface Land Administrators, Joint Venture Administrators, Land Agents, Field Supervisors and Operations Managers will benefit greatly from this course.
