SCMP 113 - X-treme Robots, Intermediate (Gr. 7-12)

Course Description
In this two-week robotics camp students will learn how to work as a team utilizing STEM principles to build a robot that will overcome a variety of challenges. This uses FIRST® Tech Challenge as a basis to teach students’ skills of critical thinking, machine design, troubleshooting, teamwork, and more, in order to concur the challenges laid out before them. At the end of the seconf week, students will take home a robot of their own that they can then use to advance their knowledge in programming and problem solving for their future.

SAFETY NOTE: Campers are required to adhere to the safety precautions outlined by the instructors; safety infractions may lead to removal from the camp.

NOTE: This is a two-week camp

For youth entering grades 7 through 12 in September.
Register using your child’s name.
Registration for camp and lunch closes at 12:00pm (MST) on the Thursday before the camp begins. Late registrations will not be accepted.
Camps run from 9:00am - 4:00pm.
