MNGT 139 - Tendering and Contract Management

Course Description
Often, hiring an external contractor is essential to operations and maintenance. This responsibility usually falls to the property manager. You will learn the key responsibilities of a housing manager for administering and managing contracts and tenders. Topics include the tendering process, typical housing contracts, contractor selection, consequences of not having a proper contract, potential problems in tendering and contract administration, and the value of having plans to deal with contractor problems.
