CMPN 151 - Introduction to PHP Course Description PHP is a server side, cross platform, HTML-embedded scripting language used to make web sites dynamic. This introductory training demonstrates how PHP is used to process HTML forms, upload files, create guest books, store data in cookies, make visitor counters, read and write data to and from flat file and relational databases, and much more.
PHP is faster to program and faster to execute then CGI, ASP or JSP. PHP is also easier to learn and it’s free. This course offers you the opportunity to create PHP scripts to make dynamic web pages that incorporate all of the elements outlined above.
