ELAW 106 - Privacy Rights Course Description Privacy in the workplace is a relatively new and evolving area of the law. It invites a broad range of views and perspectives, and as a manager you should have a basic understanding of the framework of privacy legislation.
This course will consider how privacy legislation specifically regulates employers’ collection, use and disclosure of their employees’ personal information. You will consider the right of an employee to privacy in the workplace and the employer’s right to monitor employee activity to enhance productivity and reduce liability.
