Course Description
Reprocessing Audit Preparation is designed to help medical and dental office staff responsible for reprocessing medical devices better prepare for a general reprocessing audit. Basic procedures and standards required for a general medical and dental workplace device reprocessing audit are covered including infection control and prevention, guidelines used to prevent the transmission of microorganisms in health care environments, office reprocessing structural requirements and policies, decontamination principles and procedures, packaging principles, storage and sterilization.
