THRM 213 - Thermal Production Operations Level B


Course Description
SAIT Polytechnic’s Thermal Production Operations Level B course includes 32 modules which provide an introduction to recovery processes and heavy oil treatment techniques. This course consists of a theory component and knowledge self-assessments (quizzes and final exam.) It is delivered in an interactive, self-paced, online format supported by phone, email and in-person (at SAIT Calgary) access to dedicated, industry-experienced tutors.
Who Will Benefit From This Course? SAIT Thermal Production Operations courses (Level A-D) are designed for junior-to-intermediate operators and will benefit any operator requiring foundational knowledge in thermal process/SAGD operations. This training will be a valuable addition to operators seeking to upgrade their skills to further their professional development and career progression, and to prepare for subsequent on-the-job training within an operating environment.
