MKTG 123 - Social Media Fundamentals for Business Course Description Social media is a booming industry, and it continues to grow at incredible speed. To stay competitive in today’s market it is imperative for businesses to leverage proper social media channels for maximum effectiveness. Empowering your employees with an understanding of the fundamentals of using social media for business is a key stepping stone to the ongoing evolution of today’s most competitive companies.
This course provides a practical journey of Social Media through the lens of Business, to those with varying familiarity and adopters of social media. The journey begins with an introduction to digital marketing, with a focus on social media marketing tactics specific to business, assessing benchmarks/trends, to building content assets, promoting content, managing, metrics/reporting and defining overall success of a company’s Social Media strategy.
