CPRS 004 - Standard First Aid & Heartsaver AED (Level C) CPR

Course Description
Standard First Aid and Heartsaver AED (automatic external defibrillator) (Level C) CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) focuses on the primary skills of emergency scene management and implementing basic life support. Specifically, topics will include managing patient distress resulting from shock, unconsciousness, obstructed airways, severe bleeding and cardiopulmonary resuscitation emergencies.

The CPR component of course is approved by the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.

This course is recognized by Alberta Workplace Health and Safety.
